Renault and Waymo Autonomous Vehicles

The autonomous transport plan, the first project under the Renault and Waymo partnership announced last June, is being implemented.

Renault and Waymo have announced that they will provide a mobility service for autonomous transportation for the Olympics in 2024, between Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris and La Defense, a major business district in the west of the city (20 miles). Valerie Pecresse, head of the Ile-de-France region, including Paris, said the investment in autonomous vehicle infrastructure was 100m euros.
